Mental Health Literacy: A Cross ‐Cultural Study of American and Chinese Bachelor of Nursing Students
This study was aimed at developing an understanding of American and Chinese nursing students’ mental health literacy regarding the effectiveness of specific interventions for managing depression and schizophrenia. Qualitative experiences of disengagement in Assertive Outreach Teams, in particular for ‘black’ men: Clinicians’ perspectives
This study explores the perception of clinicians on patients with severe mental health problems, in particular the experiences of black men, who disengage from mental health services. MethodTwo focus groups twelve, mainly white, experienced clinicians in the UK were recruited. Transcripts were analysed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Potential drug –drug interactions and polypharmacy in institutionalized elderly patients in a public hospital in Brazil
This study shows that in hospitalized elderly patients with mental disorders (aged 60–69 years), polypharmacy (≥5 drugs) and the use of drugs that act on the cardiovascular, respiratory and nervous systems can lead to potential drug–drug interactions.
