Seven ‐Tesla Magnetization Transfer Imaging to Detect Multiple Sclerosis White Matter Lesions
CONCLUSIONSeven‐Tesla MTw sequences detected most of the white matter lesions identified by FLAIR at 3T. This suggests that 7T‐MTw imaging is a robust alternative for detecting demyelinating lesions in addition to 3T‐FLAIR. Future studies need to compare the roles of optimized 7T‐FLAIR and of 7T‐MTw imaging. (Source: Journal of Neuroimaging)

Long ‐Term Magnetization Transfer Ratio Evolution in Multiple Sclerosis White Matter Lesions
CONCLUSIONSThese results suggest that long‐term changes in MTR in white matter lesions can be used to distinguish lesion subtypes associated with MS disease progression and improve understanding of the temporal evolution of MS pathology. (Source: Journal of Neuroimaging)

Diffusion Tensor Imaging Shows Corpus Callosum Differences between High ‐Grade Gliomas and Metastases
CONCLUSIONThese results suggest that there is more contralateral brain reorganization in HGG patients than MET patients and that neither the tumor nor callosal volume impact the degree of contralateral brain reorganization. (Source: Journal of Neuroimaging)

Intra ‐arterial Modulation of the Trigeminal Nerve Ganglion in Patients with Refractory Trigeminal Neuralgia
CONCLUSIONSWe found that modulation of trigeminal nerve activity via the intra‐arterial route is possible based on consistent intraprocedural electrophysiologic suppression and short‐term clinical improvement in patients with refractory trigeminal neuralgia. (Source: Journal of Neuroimaging)

Anomalies and Normal Variants of the Cerebral Arterial Supply: A Comprehensive Pictorial Review with a Proposed Workflow for Classification and Significance
ABSTRACT Cerebral arteries may exhibit a wide range of variation from normal anatomy, which can be incidentally discovered during imaging. Knowledge of such variants is crucial to differentiate them from pathologies, to understand the etiology of certain pathologies directly related to a vascular variant, and to depict the changes in collateral circulation in patients with certain variants. Detection of particular variants may lead to the discovery of other nonvascular or vascular anomalies, especially aneurysms, and may also affect planning of endovascular or neurosurgical interventions. In this review, we summarize the v...

Cluster Confidence Index: A Streamline ‐Wise Pathway Reproducibility Metric for Diffusion‐Weighted MRI Tractography
CONCLUSIONSThis method is intended to replace the application of a streamline density threshold so that outliers are eliminated based on low pathway density instead of voxel‐wise density. (Source: Journal of Neuroimaging)

MRI Interscanner Agreement of the Association between the Susceptibility Vessel Sign and Histologic Composition of Thrombi
CONCLUSIONThe diagnostic accuracy of SVS to determine thrombus composition varies significantly among MRI scanners. Normalization of T2*sequences between scanners may be needed to better predict thrombus composition in multicenter studies. (Source: Journal of Neuroimaging)
