Diagnosis and Identification of Risk Factors for Heart Disease Patients Using Generalized Additive Model and Data Mining Techniques
Conclusion: The present article attempt to remove some new information regarding heart disease through probabilistic modeling which may provide better assistance for treatment decision making using the individual patient risk factors and the benefits of a specific treatment. These findings may help the medical practitioners for better medical treatment. Keywords:Data Mining,GAM.,heart disease,MLPE,Sensitivity analysis,SVMView:PDF (527.98 KB)Click here to download the PDF file.‹ Treatment Optimization in Newly Diagnosed Hypertensives using WHO/ISH Cardiovascular Risk Prediction Chart: Findings from ‘Great Indian BP Surve...

Acute Impact of Balloon Mitral Valvotomy on Left Atrial Functions in Mitral Stenosis
Conclusion: Successful BMV leads to early improvement in left atrial reservoir and conduit functions, without significantly affecting left atrial pump function. Whether these acute changes translate into long term left atrial reverse remodelling and clinical benefits thereof needs to be established by further studies. Keywords:Balloon mitral valvotomy,Left Atrial Functions,Left Atrial Volume,Mitral stenosis, rheumatic heart diseaseView:PDF (507.37 KB)Click here to download the PDF file.‹ Gamma Glutamyl Transferase Levels In Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome: A Cross-Sectional StudyTreatment Optimization in Newly Diagno...

Unusual Vascular Manifestations of Noonan Syndrome
We present a patient with Noonan syndrome and multiple cardiac and vascular manifestations, some of which are unusual and rarely reported. Further research is necessary to determine whether these defects are truly secondary to Noonan syndrome or possibly another underlying congenital abnormality. Keywords:Coronary Artery Aneurysm,Noonan Syndrome,Solitary Coronary Artery.View:PDF (441.76 KB)Full TextClick here to download the PDF file.‹ Gamma Glutamyl Transferase Levels in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome: A Cross-Sectional Study (Source: Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research)

Study of Metabolic Syndrome and Its Components Among Kurnool District Population of Andhra Pradesh with Different Ethnic Backgrounds
Conclusion: Metabolic syndrome prevalence is very high in Kurnool district population. Mets components are highly prevalent among the individuals with low WC (Waist Circumference) and BMI (Body Mass Index). This warrants the need to implement preventive strategies for Mets among the population of Kurnool district. The future projects has to be formulated with an aim to find out the genetic factors behind this scenario. Keywords:Adults,Insulin resistance,Kurnool District,Population.,Prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome,Rural,Tribal,UrbanView:PDF (184.84 KB)Full TextClick here to download the PDF file.‹ Association of Polymorph...
