Association between Myocardial Infarction and Dermatoglyphics: A Cross-Sectional Study
Conclusion: The present study showed that there is an association between dermatoglyphic patterns and MI cases. Further, findings suggest that dermatoglyphic patterns may contribute to etiology of early prediction of MI.Keywords:A-B ridge,Dermatoglyphics,Loop, myocardial infarction,South Indian population,WhorlView:PDF (2.05 MB)Click here to download the PDF file.‹ Atrial Fibrillation, Clinical Profile and Adherence to GuidelinesDelayed Hyper-Enhancement in Cardiac MRI Compared to Nuclear Perfusion Scintigraphy in Identification of Viable Myocardium in Patients of Myocardial Infarction – A Study › (Source: Journal of ...

Transient Stress Lymphocytosis in Cardiac Emergencies: A Clinicopathological Study of Under-recognized Entity at a Tertiary Care Cardiology Institute in North India
Conclusion: Contrary to the expected neutrophilic response, a few acute stress full conditions are known to be associated with absolute lymphocytosis that is transient type and most often ignored by the treating clinician as many time in subsequent investigations the ALC was found to be normal. Usually this condition is associated with poor outcome. Keywords:Absolute lymphocyte count,Absolute neutrophil count,Transient stress lymphocytosisView:PDF (395.34 KB)Click here to download the PDF file.‹ Assessment of Risk Factors for the Cardiovascular Diseases in People Visiting a Tertiary Care Hospital for Routine Medical Check...
