Effects of orthodontic appliances on the diagnostic capability of magnetic resonance imaging in the head and neck region: A systematic review
ConclusionsThere is fair evidence to suggest orthodontic appliances, mainly those with SS, cause MR artefacts. Removal of metal orthodontic appliances prior to MR scans is recommended, especially if the area of interest is near the orthodontic appliance.

The effect of miniscrew length and bone density on anchorage resistance: An in vitro study
ConclusionThe length of miniscrew and the density of bone affect the stability of miniscrew.

Evaluation of shear bond strength of orthodontic molar tubes bonded using hydrophilic primers: An in vitro study
ConclusionDry bonding yielded the highest SBS for the three primers. Saliva contamination significantly decreased the bond strength of both hydrophilic primers; however, the values were above the clinically acceptable limit. The hydrophilic primers tested in the present study can be successfully used for bonding orthodontic molar tubes under dry and saliva-contaminated enamel surface conditions.RésuméObjectifÉvaluer et comparer la résistance au cisaillement (SBS) des tubes molaires orthodontiques collés à l’aide de deux agents de couplage hydrophiles et d’un système adhésif tolérant à l’humidité sur des su...
