Patient reported adherence to hypertension treatment: A revalidation study
Conclusion: The TASHP is a validated and reliable instrument to measure the adherence to hypertension management in Chinese patients with hypertension. The cut-off score of 109 points can be considered as an effective measure to classify the level of adherence into satisfactory and low adherence behaviours. Reliability of two questionnaires on physical function in patients with stable coronary artery disease
Conclusion: We have provided introductory support for the reliability of the DRI and PSFS questionnaires in patients with stable CAD. These questionnaires can be used to assess physical function and to evaluate the effect of interventions in addition to measuring physical fitness. Translation, adaptation and validation of the Coronary Revascularization Outcome Questionnaire into Greek
Conclusions: The results of this study show the CROQ-Gr to be a psychometrically rigorous patient-based measure of outcomes of coronary revascularization. It would be appropriate for use in evaluative research as well as a routine clinical tool to aid cardiologists in monitoring the outcomes of care. (Source: European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing)

Health-related quality of life after off-pump compared with on-pump coronary bypass grafting among elderly high-risk patients: A randomized trial with eight years of follow-up
Conclusion: HRQoL SF-36 scores seemed to improve more in patients undergoing on-pump CABG compared with patients undergoing off-pump surgery, although no long-term clinically relevant difference between the groups could be demonstrated. (Source: European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing)

A review of health-related quality of life patient-reported outcome measures in cardiovascular nursing
Conclusions: Cardiovascular HRQoL PROMs have a wide variety of uses and can help clinicians, researchers, managers and policy makers in decision making and provide indicators of clinical and institutional quality and outcomes. New HRQoL PROMs are emerging and their choice and use should be determined by a host of issues, including psychometric properties, acceptability, feasibility and cost. Systematic review of trial-based analyses reporting the economic impact of heart failure management programs compared with usual care
Conclusion: The extent that HF-MPs reduce hospital readmissions appears to be associated with favorable cost outcomes. The current evidence does not provide a sufficient evidence base to explain what intervention or clinical attributes may influence the cost implications. Clinical and psychological characteristics predict future healthcare use in adults with congenital heart disease
Conclusions: Healthcare use is not entirely determined by disease complexity and functional status but also by psychological patient characteristics. It can by hypothesised that reducing the negative impact experienced and informing patients about strategies to manage their CHD, will modify their future healthcare use. Additional research is necessary to examine this possibility. (Source: European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing)

Choice of Health Options In prevention of Cardiovascular Events for people with Atrial Fibrillation (CHOICE-AF): A pilot study
Conclusions: Participation in the CHOICE-AF pilot study did not improve BMI or waist circumference: however, it was associated with significant improvement in reported symptom severity.
