Whenever I speak to patients about side effects of cancer treatment before treatment actually begins, they are always concerned with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and hair loss. Screening Test for Ovarian Cancer Shows Potential In Study
Researchers at MD Anderson Cancer Center may have discovered a screening method for ovarian cancer that may benefit all women. Currently, there is no screening test available recommended for use for the general population; only women who are at high risk or have been diagnosed with the disease are screened with the CA-125 tumor marker test.  CA-125 (cancer antigen-125) is a protein found at elevated concentrations in ovarian cancer cells that is released into the bloodstream. Study: Poor Oral Hygiene Increases HPV Risk
