ASHA ’s membership and affiliation grew by 6,312 people in 2017—a 3.3-percent increase from the previous year. However, “Could the Hearing Protection Act Boost Use of Suppressors?” (March 2018) neglected to address complexities of reducing regulations and making suppressors more immediately available.
