The family’s adaptation process to their child’s hospitalization in an Intensive Care Unit
Conclusion The mechanisms adopted by the family in the process of adapting the child to admission to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit were: positive thinking, understanding the treatment and the operation of the unit. Health professionals can offer strategies to the family in order to make hospitalization less traumatic, making it possible to share experiences and expand the knowledge of those involved. Safety of hospitalized older adult patients: an analysis of the risk of falls

Primary Healthcare management strategies in socially vulnerable territories exposed to violence
Conclusion It was evidenced that professionals develop strategies which include strengthening the team as a form of collective protection, welcoming focused on comprehensive care and bonding, even without the support of specific public policies for these situations. Upright positions in childbirth and the prevention of perineal lacerations: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusion Adopting upright positions in normal delivery can be encouraged by professionals as it can prevent severe perineal lacerations; however, it is not possible to accurately affirm their effectiveness to the detriment of horizontal positions for an intact perineum outcome. Performance of infection prevention and control programs in small hospitals
Conclusion Only the indicator referring to the Operational Guidelines of the evaluated programs was above 90% compliance for the median of hospitals. Interface between accreditation and patient safety: nursing team perspectives
Conclusion It was concluded that the investigated relationship was shown to be both dependent, as accreditation is a bridge for specific improvements, as well as independent, since patient safety goes beyond the certification process itself. Screening for hepatitis C in urgent and emergency units: a systematic review
Conclusion The screening performed in urgent and emergency units proved to be efficient in identifying new cases, especially when associated with the age factor, which proves to be superior to the strategy based only on risk factors. Applicability of auriculotherapy in cancer patients: an integrative literature review
Conclusion Auriculotherapy in cancer patients improves symptoms, and this practice was considered a safe and acceptable intervention.
