Factors Associated with Exclusive Breastfeeding at Hospital Discharge in Rural Western Australia
Conclusion:
The findings suggest that hospital practices are strong predictors of exclusive breastfeeding. Greater emphasis on Baby-Friendly hospital practices in the early postpartum period may help the establishment of exclusive breastfeeding, assisting rural mothers to reach established international breastfeeding recommendations. Psychosocial Predictors of Primiparous Breastfeeding Initiation and Duration
Conclusion:

Conclusion:
Our study may be helpful in understanding nipple-areola complex changes related to age, parity, and breastfeeding. These results should be evaluated with larger study cohorts and more longitudinal studies to better understand factors related to changes of the nipple-areola complex. Conclusion:
Self-reported IMS appears to be a common barrier to breastfeeding continuation among this sample of Chinese mothers. Culturally appropriate intervention, designed to inform mothers how to correctly identify and address IMS, might be an effective strategy to support optimal infant-feeding behaviors in China. Educating Pediatric Residents about Breastfeeding: Evaluation of 3 Time-Efficient Teaching Strategies
Conclusion:
All 3 teaching methods were time-efficient and produced important gains in knowledge and confidence, with residents in the IBCLC group demonstrating greatest improvement in knowledge and a higher rating of their teaching method. Our study provides support for 3 methods of teaching residents breastfeeding management and demonstrates that IBCLCs are well-received as interprofessional educators. Promoter Methylation in Epithelial-Enriched and Epithelial-Depleted Cell Populations Isolated from Breast Milk
Conclusion:

Intake and Macronutrient Content of Human Milk Given to Extremely Preterm Infants
Conclusion:
Swedish extremely preterm infants receive MOM to a large extent during hospitalization. Protein, carbohydrates, and energy in MOM changed significantly with time. Weekly analyses of MOM during the first month of lactation would allow more individualized nutritional support for these vulnerable infants. (Source: Journal of Human Lactation)
