Relationships among sexual self‐concept and sexual risk cognition toward sexual self‐efficacy in adolescents: Cause‐and‐effect model testing
ConclusionBased on social cognitive theory and a structural equation model technique, this study confirmed the mediating role of sexual risk cognition in the relationship between sexual self‐concept and sexual self‐efficacy. Moral competence questionnaire for public health nurses in Japan: Scale development and psychometric validation
ConclusionThe construct validity and internal consistency reliability of the Moral Competence Questionnaire for Public Health Nurses were supported. This questionnaire reflected the characteristics of Japan's public health nursing practice and it may be used to assess current moral practice and need for continuing education. However, this questionnaire needs additional internal validity testing and possible item development. Development of a partnership causal model for couples undergoing fertility treatment
ConclusionThe results revealed that for a couple undergoing fertility treatments, a strong partnership maintains their QOL, and this could decrease the couples' distress (particularly in women). Undergraduate nursing students' perceptions about disaster preparedness and response in Istanbul, Turkey, and Miyazaki, Japan: A cross‐sectional study
ConclusionDisaster characteristics were not described by one third of the students. Of the two‐thirds that were described, most were of events that were highly predictable because of their frequencies in the given areas. Universities need to target and then focus on high‐risk factors in their areas and have disaster plans for students who can provide triage and managerial nursing roles as disaster responders.
