The effects of N-acetyl cysteine on oxidative stress among patients with pre-eclampsia
Pre-eclampsia is a hypertensive disorder of pregnancy that presents multisystem complications. Reduced organ perfusion, secondary to vasospasm and endothelial activation, can result in intra-uterine growth restriction, oligohydramnios, intra-uterine fetal death, and liver and kidney impairment in the pregnant patient [1].
