The presence of F cells with a fetal phenotype in adults with hemoglobinopathies limits the utility of flow cytometry for quantitation of fetomaternal hemorrhage
Conclusions: Patients with β‐thalassemia and sickle cell disease have a population of HbF‐containing cells which are phenotypically similar to fetal cells. Even with dual‐color flow cytometry (FCCK), the detection and quantification of FMH by flow cytometry in this population remains difficult. This article is protected by copyright. Low synovial double negative T and γδ T cells predict longer free‐disease survival in oligoarticular JIA
Conclusions In oJIA relapse SF present an activated B phenotype. Patients at disease onset with DNTs <1.8% and/or γδ T cells <16% of CD3+ in synovial fluid have longer free‐disease survival. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. (Source: Cytometry Part B: Clinical Cytometry)

CD5+ B lymphoproliferative disorder with subsequent development of plasma cell leukaemia: Diagnostic and aetiologic reasoning
Conclusions:This report of PCL development in a patient with residual CD5+ B LPD, emphasizes the need for comprehensive diagnostic evaluation of such cases and scrutiny of their aetiological relationship, including FC immunophenotyping due to its high analytical sensitivity and multiparametric capacity compared to morphology or immunohistochemistry alone.
