ALPSP announces a new partnership with ACCUCOMS’ Aggregagent, to reinstate sales services as a benefit of membership.
ALPSP and ACCUCOMS have announced a new collaboration that opens up the Aggregagent to a large number of ALPSP member organisations, and sees the relaunch of the ALJC (ALPSP Learned Journals Collection) as ‘ALPSP Collections’ within the Aggregagent framework. The long-standing ALJC used to be available through Swets until it ceased trading in 2014, and since then ALPSP has been seeking a new partner for this important benefit of membership.

Nature Index: over 50% of China ’s high-quality research involves international co-authors
The Nature Index 2017 China supplement, published today, reveals that as China’s total number of articles included in the Nature Index increased since 2012, the percentage of articles with international co-authors has continued to rise year-on-year. By 2016, papers with international co-authors comprised more than 50% of the country’s articles in the index.

Inspec adds 154 Wiley journals to its market leading database
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has announced that articles from 154 Wiley journals will be indexed by Inspec, its market-leading abstract and indexing research tool. This includes the respected journal, Chemical and Engineering Technology.
The indexing of these titles will begin later this year and will deliver thousands of new articles to Inspec users, bringing the total number of Wiley titles included to 338.

KU Launches Pledging Period for KU Select 2017
Today Knowledge Unlatched (KU), the global initiative for open access books and journals, launches its new frontlist, backlist, and journals collection – KU Select 2017.
KU Select 2017 offers 364 titles in 17 subject areas in the humanities and social sciences. These include 151 frontlist titles planned for publication between November 2017 and April 2018 as well as 192 backlist titles published between 2006 and 2016, plus 21 journals.
