New Drug Data Challenge Ways We Treat Myeloma

IMF Applauds Bipartisan Introduction of Oral Parity Legislation
Late last week, lawmakers from both parties introduced congressional legislation to ensure access to the best cancer treatments for patients across America. The Cancer Drug Coverage Parity Act will correct misaligned insurance coverage policies that result in high costs for orally administered anticancer treatments. “The IMF is excited about this bipartisan effort to fix a major problem facing America's cancer patients,” said Susie Novis, IMF President and Co-founder, in the IMF's statement of support. IMF Honors Pieter Sonneveld with the 2015 Robert A. Kyle Lifetime Achievement Award
Dr. Pieter Sonneveld is Chairman of the Dutch HOVON Myeloma Cooperative Group and he coordinates clinical trials in lymphoma, leukemia and multiple myeloma in The Netherlands. He is on the executive board of the European Hematology Association (EHA). He serves on the Scientific Advisory Boards of the IMF, the Myeloma UK Foundation, is a member of the Editorial Boards of more than eight major hematology publications, and is Associate Editor of Haematologica.
