Attune takes $10M in Series B funding
Attune Technologies, a startup that makes cloud-based software for hospitals and labs, will tackle markets outside of India after landing a $10 million Series B round from Qualcomm Ventures and returning investor Norwest Venture Partners. This is the first investment from Qualcomm Ventures' Strategic Venture Fund in India, which was announced at the end of September. Along with a $6 million Series A that Attune raised in May from Norwest and angel funding, the startup's total venture funding adds up to $17 million so far. eClinicalWorks rechristens flagship cloud service: 'Don't call it an EHR'
In what has become something of a grand tradition among technology vendors, eClinicalWorks announced a fresh version of its software and cloud services and bestowed a new 'e' upon its name. If one letter seems like a subtle tweak, it's not, at least according to company founder and CEO Girish Navani.
