High ‐frequency ultrasonography—New non‐invasive method in assessment of skin lymphomas
ConclusionWe present for the first time the possibility of monitoring patients’ clinical state on the base of non‐invasive USG imaging. We recommend additional use of 20 MHz USG to reduce intra‐observer variability and to assess residual disease. USG imaging can complement evaluation of skin lesions in MF and can support clinical judgement. (Source: Skin Research and Technology)

Erythema ‐directed digital photography for the enhanced evaluation of topical treatments for acne vulgaris
ConclusionThis study has demonstrated for the first time that erythema‐directed digital photography can enhance the evaluation of the efficacy and tolerability of topical acne treatments. These cases show that Clin‐RA was associated with improved efficacy and tolerability vs previous treatments with topical monotherapy (benzoyl peroxide 5%) or a topical fixed‐dose combination (clindamycin 1%/benzoyl peroxide 5%). Optical clearing agent reduces scattering of light by the stratum corneum and modulates the physical properties of coenocytes via hydration
ConclusionBy analyzing the tape‐striped SC, we were able to measure the changes in the optical and physical properties of corneocytes in response to OCAs. Hydration of the SC layer by OCAs reduces light scattering from the corneocytes and would be helpful in moisturizing the skin and helping the skin look healthy. (Source: Skin Research and Technology)
