Aphthous stomatitis and laryngitis, another form of presentation of an IgG4-related disease?
We report the case of a 37-year-old woman who presented with severe dysphonia and recurrent painful aphthous ulcers, with histopathological findings at the level of the larynx that revealed a lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate and IgG4 positivity. Evaluation of the educational needs in Argentine patients with rheumatoid arthritis using the SpENAT questionnaire
ConclusionRA patients were very interested about knowing more about their disease. High functional impairment was associated with more ENs. Patients with high disease activity had higher EN levels in almost every domain. The rheumatologist was the main source of information for the patient with RA.ResumenIntroducciónEl Educational Needs Assessment Tool-versión española (SpENAT) es un cuestionario autorreportado que evalúa las necesidades educacionales (NEd) con el fin de dar información adaptada y centrada en el paciente con artritis reumatoide (AR). Inter-observer agreement of standard joint count examination and disease global assessment in a cohort of Egyptian Rheumatoid Arthritis patients
ConclusionInter-observer reliability was better for TJCs than SJCs. Regarding SJCs agreement was better in large joints such as the knees compared to the small joints such as the MCPs. Disease global assessment may show discrepancy between patients and physicians.

Validation of fragility fractures in primary care electronic medical records: A population-based study
ConclusionsMore than 4 in 5 major fractures recorded in SIDIAP are due to fragility (non-traumatic), with higher proportions for hip (92%) and vertebral (88%) fracture, and a lower proportion for fractures other than major ones. Our data support the validity of SIDIAP for the study of the epidemiology of osteoporotic fractures.

Tophaceous gout in the lumbar spine causing radiculopathy
We report the case of a 44-year-old patient with low back pain and radiculopathy. Radiographs revealed lytic spondylolisthesis in L5. Magnetic resonance imaging showed hypointense signal on T1 and a heterogeneous signal on T2 located in the L4-L5 interspinous space and in the left facet joint that invades left neuroforamen. The left knee ultrasound showed “double contour” of the medial femoral condyle. Decompressive laminectomy with arthrodesis at the level of L5-S1 was performed. The histological examination revealed amorphous material with a foreign body giant cell reaction.ResumenLos depósitos de tofos en columna l...
