Use of neck torsion as a specific test of neck related postural instability
Disturbed postural stability in neck pain (NP) is likely due to abnormal cervical afferent function. Several potential causes requires specific diagnostic tests. The neck torsion (head still body rotated) manoeuvre stimulates cervical but not vestibular receptors and identified abnormal cervical afferent input as the cause in patients with NP compared to healthy controls. Comparison between vestibular and NP subjects is now needed. (Source: Manual Therapy)

Reliability and number of trials of Y Balance Test in adolescent athletes
The Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT) is commonly used to evaluate dynamic equilibrium. The Y Balance Test (Y-BT) is a shortened version of the SEBT where a Y- Balance Kit is commonly used. To date, research concerning the protocol and reliability of the SEBT and Y-BT has been conducted only for adults. (Source: Manual Therapy)

Beyond the tendon: Experiences and perceptions of people with persistent Achilles tendinopathy
Achilles tendinopathy (AT) is associated with persistent pain leading to a significant physical and psychological burden. Psychosocial factors are considered to be important mediators following exercise interventions. Despite the recognition of the importance of psychosocial variables in persistent MSK disorders, there is a distinct lack of qualitative research investigating psychosocial factors in AT. Mechanical effects of traction on lumbar intervertebral discs: A  magnetic resonance imaging study
Although traction has long been used for treating patients with low back pain (LBP), its effects are still inconclusive mainly because of limited high-quality evidence. (Source: Manual Therapy)

Kinematic analysis of the shoulder complex after anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty: A cross-sectional study
The movement of the arm relative to the trunk results from coordinated 3D glenohumeral and scapulothoracic movements. Changes in scapula kinematics may occur after total shoulder arthroplasty and could affect clinical and functional outcomes. (Source: Manual Therapy)

Clinical characteristics and outcomes of treatment of the cervical spine in patients with persistent post-concussion symptoms: A retrospective analysis
Concussion is typically defined as a mild brain injury, and yet the brain is unlikely to be the only source of persistent post-concussion symptoms. Concurrent injury to the cervical spine in particular is acknowledged as a potential source of common persistent symptoms such as headache, dizziness and neck pain. (Source: Manual Therapy)

Adverse events in a chiropractic spinal manipulative therapy single-blinded, placebo, randomized controlled trial for migraineurs
Unlike pharmacological randomized controlled trials (RCTs), manual-therapy RCTs do not always report adverse events (AEs). The few manual-therapy RCTs that provide information on AEs are frequently without details, such as the type and-, severity of the AE and reason for withdrawal. (Source: Manual Therapy)

Eye stabilization reflexes in traumatic and non-traumatic chronic neck pain patients
Many chronic neck pain patients experience problems with vision. These problems are possibly induced by deviations of the eye stabilization reflexes. It is not known whether these eye reflex alterations occur both in traumatic and non-traumatic neck pain patients. (Source: Manual Therapy)

The influence of a depressed scapular alignment on upper limb neural tissue mechanosensitivity and local pressure pain sensitivity
A depressed scapula alignment could lead to prolonged and repetitive stress or compression of the brachial plexus, resulting in sensitization of neural tissue. However, no study has investigated the influence of alignment of the scapulae on sensitization of upper limb neural tissue in otherwise asymptomatic people. In this case-control study, we investigate the influence of a depressed scapular alignment on mechanosensitivity of the upper limb peripheral nervous system as well as pressure pain thresholds (PPT).
