Scripting Language for Java Source Code Recognition
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Tomáš Bublík , Miroslav Virius This paper presents general results on the Java source code snippet detection problem. We propose the tool which uses graph and subgraph isomorphism detection. A number of solutions for all of these tasks have been proposed in the literature. However, although that all these solutions are really fast, they compare just the constant static trees. Our solution offers to enter an input sample dynamically with the Scripthon language while preserving an acceptable speed. We used several optimizations to achieve very low num...

From Single to Multi-clouds Computing Privacy and Fault Tolerance
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Maha Tebaa , Said EL Hajji Security issues of data hosted in a Cloud Computing provider remain hidden seen excessive marketing that led to a totally unrealistic view of cloud computing security. Although Cloud Computing has not yet reached the level of maturity expected by its customers, and that the problems of confidentiality, integrity, reliability and consistency (CIRC) are still open, the researchers in this field have already considered a future cloud strategy which aims: a better QoS, reliability and high availability, it is the Multi-Clouds, Cl...

Rapid Topology Design based on Shortest Path Betweenness for Virtual Network Construction
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Yasuhiro Urayama , Takuji Tachibana Recently, a network virtualization technology has attracted considerable attention as one of new generation network technologies. In this paper, in order to permit the rapid changing for a topology of a virtual network, we propose a new virtual network construction method based on the shortest path betweenness. In our proposed method, at first, a service provider receives a user's request for the reconfiguration of the constructed virtual network. In this case, the service provider reconfigures the topology of the co...

Human-robot Communication for Surveillance of Elderly People in Remote Distance
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Shin-ichiro Kaneko , Genci Capi In this paper, we present a tele-operated mobile robot system for old age surveillance. The robot operates in autonomous mode in which the robots navigates in the environment and search for unusual situation of elderly people. If a patient is lying on the floor, the robot informs the user. The user switches the control mode from autonomous to haptic based user control. In the autonomous mode, the robot utilizes the visual sensor and landmarks to monitor the entire environment. The robot is equipped microphone, speaker an...

Evolution of Neural Controllers for Exploration of Dynamic Environments
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): MengZe Li , Genci Capi , Takayuki Oshima , Endri Rama Environment exploration of dynamic unknown environments is an attractive research issue. In this paper, we propose an evolutionary based method to deal with this issue. We evolved a neural controller that uses the laser data and information of unexplored environment to generate the robot best action. The map of the environment is generated by the robot in a form of a binary matrix. The explored are is used as fitness function of the genetic algorithm. The experimental results show a good performan...

Diameter Error Prediction Using Fuzzy Logic for Cast Nylon 6 Turning Operation
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Bandit Suksawat A prediction model using fuzzy logic system for cast nylon 6 turning work piece diameter error forecasting was developed. The cutting parameters consisting of feed rate, depth of cut and cutting speed were determined as input variable of 75 fuzzy rules of input membership function. The diameter error values from 11 levels of fuzzy rules of output membership function were arranged as prediction outputs. Turning was carried out at 3 levels of turning speed and 5 levels feed rate then depths of cut were accomplished. Both experimental and p...

Performance Analysis of Spatial Color Information for Object Detection Using Background Subtraction
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): S. Manipriya , C. Mala , Samson Mathew Object detection, which is a primary yet important step in applications including video surveillance, gets difficult when the video of outdoor environment is influenced by illumination and weather changes. Background Subtraction is the method frequently used for in such cases. In this paper, enhanced BS method namely Extended Frame Differencing Method (EFDM) and Extended Histogram Differencing Method (EHDM) using spatial color information are proposed to improve the accuracy and computational efficiency of object...

Ranking of Journals in Science and Technology Domain: A Novel and Computationally Lightweight Approach
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Neelam Jangid , Snehanshu Saha , Siddhant Gupta , J. Mukunda Rao In this paper, a regression analysis based method is proposed to calculate the Journal Influence Score. This Influence Score is used to measure the scientific influence of scholarly journals. Journal Influence Score is calculated by using various factors in a weighted manner. The Score is then compared with the SCImago Journal Score. The results show that the error is small between the existing and proposed methods, proving that the model is a feasible and effective way of calculating...

Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Ching Yee Yong , Rubita Sudirman , Nasrul Humaimi Mahmood , Kim Mey Chew A preliminary path tracking experiment was done and a mapping system was developed in this study. Data collection of human activities in this study was focused on different shape of hand drawings. Five subjects were required to draw three types of shapes (circle, square and triangle) according to their convenience pace. A sensor consists of accelerometer, gyroscope and compass was attached firmly on subject's wrist with special designed holder. PCA and double integration techniq...

Improvement of the Byzantine Agreement Problem under Mobile P2P Network
In this study, a more efficient algorithm has been proposed to decrease the required bouts for exchanging message. Our proposed algorithm only need to run three bouts for exchanging message to allow all non-faulty peers to reach an agreement despite some peers roaming among the different network. It also can decrease the message complexity to O(n 2). It is more suitable and efficient than previous efforts aimed at the mobile P2P network. (Source: IERI Procedia)

Distributionally Extended Network-based Word Sense Disambiguation in Semantic Clustering of Polish Texts
Publication date: 2014 Source:IERI Procedia, Volume 10 Author(s): Paweł Kędzia , Maciej Piasecki , Jan Kocoń , Agnieszka Indyka-Piasecka In the paper we present an extended version of the graph-based unsupervised Word Sense Disambiguation algorithm. The algorithm is based on the spreading activation scheme applied to the graphs dynamically built on the basis of the text words and a large wordnet. The algorithm, originally proposed for English and Princeton WordNet, was adapted to Polish and plWordNet. An extension based on the knowledge acquired from the corpus-derived Measure of Semantic Relatedness was propose...
