ConclusionsAccurate diagnosis of an underlying SCF is essential to the understanding of why the many associated conditions develop and for their treatment. As the bones of the foot and ankle gradually form into a cavovarus position and the joints stiffen, often with a degree of metatarsus adductus, the presenting pathology may be difficult to treat.
