Criterion validity of assessment methods to estimate body composition in children with cerebral palsy: a systematic review
Conclusions. The future role of skinfold equations and BIA to assess and monitor body composition in an individual child with CP needs to be further investigated. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)

Outcomes for older adults in inpatient specialist neurorehabilitation
Conclusion. Older adults considered to have rehabilitation potential may have greater functional gains from inpatient specialist inpatient rehabilitation than younger adults. Age alone should not exclude admission to inpatient specialist neurorehabilitation. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)

Patterns of hip migration in non-ambulant children with cerebral palsy: a prospective cohort study
Conclusions. In non-ambulant children with CP, the prevalence of HM requiring surgery is low and most hips remain practically stable over time. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)

Efficacy and potential determinants of exercise therapy in knee and hip osteoarthritis: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions. Exercise significantly reduces pain and improves function, performance and QoL in people with knee and hip OA as compared with usual care at 8 weeks. The effects are maximal around 2 months and thereafter slowly diminish, being no better than usual care at 9 to 18 months. Participants with younger age, knee OA and not awaiting joint replacement may benefit more from exercise therapy. These potential determinants, identified by study-level analyses, may have implied ecological bias and need to be confirmed with individual patient data. Participation in work and leisure activities after stroke: A national study
Conclusions. Overall, our study indicates that people with a history of stroke report more difficulties in participating in work and leisure activities than those without a history of stroke. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)

Exercise-based games interventions at home in individuals with a neurological disease: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions. This systematic review reveals that EBGs seem a relevant alternative for rehabilitation at home because the effectiveness of these interventions was at least equivalent to conventional therapy or usual care. We give recommendations for the development of new EBG therapies. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)

Multicentric evaluation of the adherence to Peristeen® transanal irrigation system in children
Conclusion. This study reports a very high mid-term adherence to TAI in a paediatric cohort, provided that the training is pragmatic, personalized and repeated. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)

Effectiveness of upper-limb robotic-assisted therapy in the early rehabilitation phase after stroke: a single-blind, randomised, controlled trial
Conclusion. For the same duration of daily rehabilitation, RAT combined with conventional therapy during the early rehabilitation phase after stroke is more effective than conventional therapy alone to improve gross manual dexterity, upper-limb ability during functional tasks and patient social participation. Association between prism adaptation and auditory cues on spatial navigation in individuals with unilateral neglect
Conclusions. This study demonstrates the positive effect of auditory cues in virtual spatial navigation of individuals with visual and auditory neglect and the potentiation of the help of cues after prism adaptation. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)

Inertial measurement unit compared to an optical motion capturing system in post-stroke individuals with foot-drop syndrome
Conclusions. IMU-based reconstruction algorithms were effective in measuring ankle dorsiflexion with small biases and good ICCs in adults with ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke presenting foot-drop. The precision obtained is sufficient to observe the fatigue influence on the dorsiflexion and therefore to use IMUs to adapt FES. (Source: Annals of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine)
