Favorite Workout DVD
What is everyones favorite workout DVD? I use my ellipitcal machine when it is cold during the winter. I am looking to change it up since I had a decline in my FEV 1 47%.. yikes. I am not having any symptoms of an exacerbation, very strange. My doctor suggested doing hardcore cardio to get my lungs into shape. Any suggestions of a good intense cardio workout DvD?? exercise video for 12 yr old boy
Can people make recommendations for an exercise video/program that might appeal to a middle school age boy? PXsomething? Insanity? I've heard of these things, but don't really know much about them. It's too icy to run outside safely right now, and jogging has not appealed to my son thus far anyway. I really want to get him on a routine that appeals to him and can be done year round. He plays fall and spring team sports, but winter and summer are sedate. Fwiw, he doesn't have CF, though like me he gets pneumonia easily. I want him to have the exercise habit to possibly help him not get bronchiectasis like me, and for endo...

Exercise program at school
Hi all, Can anyone share about their success with implementing a school based exercise program (PT, gym, etc.) that AT LEAST fulfills 30 of the 60 minute daily requirement of strenuous exercise that is currently recommended by the CFF? My son has had an IEP for years now and long story short, I am up against ignorance and a medical team that will not go the full distance to advocate and get this done. Thanks! Problems getting back in shape
Hey all, new here. So I'm a 21 yr old woman who used to be very active in high school; I played varsity soccer and varsity lacrosse, and could run for miles without stopping (my PFTs were always around 90% predicted and higher, and I didn't need IVs to fight off infections until I was 19). But for the last three years of college, I've gotten very out of shape. (And I'm not talking about getting fatter, my BMI is a healthy 21.5). The problem is my lung function has declined seriously in the last few years, which I know is so obviously connected with my lack of exercise. I know that if I want to be healthy I need to get bac...
