Clips for Class
We created this website in response to a request we hear over and over again from psychology professors would love to have more video! We launched an extensive search for videos on the internet that could be used both in class and by students at home. The videos range from news clips, to popular television shows, to student projects, and represent many psychological fields of study. Of course, we know there is always more out there. If you know of any video that would work for our site, or have any suggestions or comments, please send us a message. (Source: PsychSplash)

Professor Cottom ’s Graduate School Guidance
Dear You,   So, you think you want to go to graduate school.   Whether you are considering a masters, doctoral, professional, research, or applied degree program, there are some things you need to consider. Advice necessarily assumes to know who you are, your limitations, interests, values, talents, and circumstances. Mentoring, on the other hand, assumes none of these things and instead gets to know you before offering up suggestions for what you might do. Alas, I am one person and cannot a...

The Jung Page
Carl Jung was one of the creators of modern depth psychology, which seeks to facilitate a conversation with the unconscious energies which move through each of us. He contributed many ideas which continue to inform contemporary life: complex, archetype, persona, shadow, anima and animus, personality typology, dream interpretation, individuation, and many other ideas. He had a deep appreciation of our creative life and considered spirituality a central part of the human journey. His method of interpretation of symbolic expression not only deepens our understanding of personal material, opening the psychodynamics of our pers...
