TOXMAP now includes EPA coal emissions data
The TOXMAP beta now includes 2013 coal emissions data published by the US EPA's Clean Air Markets program. Data was obtained from the Air Markets Program Data (AMPD) tool, a publicly-available data system for searching and downloading data collected as part of EPA's emissions trading programs. In 2013, about 2.1 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions were attributable to electricity generated from coal. (Source: TOXMAP News)

The TOXMAP beta now includes the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) 2012 National Analysis data. TOXMAP maps the TRI chemicals reported to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as required by the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA). New-look TOXMAP now available!
A beta (or pre-release) of a new version of TOXMAP is now available. It provides an improved map appearance and interactive capabilities as well as a more current GIS look-and-feel. This includes seamless panning, immediate update of search results when zooming to a location, two collapsible side panels to maximize map size, and automatic size adjustment after a window resize.
