DF/HCC CURE Program Celebrates Thirteen Years of Success
October 2014 | eNewsThis year, 32 Scholars participated in the NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) program, a hands-on research training experience for high school and college students from underrepresented populations. In addition to performing research and presenting their work at the end of each summer, CURE Scholars attend scientific seminars, professional development workshops, and networking events. DF/HCC members volunteer annually as mentors in the program, assigning CURE Scholars to a specific project each summer.
