World AIDS Day, held each year on December 1st, is a time to show support to those living with HIV, remember those who have died, and to raise awareness and take action in the fight against HIV and AIDS. AAC Submits Testimony in Support of An Act to Protect Access to Confidential Health Care
AAC recently submitted testimony to the Chairs of the Joint Committee on Financial Services in support of S557/H871, also known as An Act to protect access to confidential health care, at the bill’s first hearing on July 20th. We were joined by a robust coalition of individuals, organizations, and providers, including groups that represent victims of sexual assault, victims of domestic abuse, college students seeking care at campus health centers, individuals seeking mental health services, and individuals seeking sexual and reproductive health care.
