ConclusionsMotivating behavior change within ACOs goes beyond financial incentives. ACOs are using a broad range of motivators, including creating ways to make a greater impact on patients and opportunities to be a more effective physician. Overall, it does not appear that ACOs are deploying the full range of available motivators. ConclusionsA tax may be considered a “health” tax on the basis that it raises revenue for health spending and/or that it helps achieve health aims (eg, behavioral change), but there may be tension between these goals in policy design. ConclusionsOur findings highlight that current language resources in emerging destinations may be inadequate for keeping up with the transforming needs of the patient population. The Evolving Dynamics of Employer ‐Sponsored Health Insurance: Implications for Workers, Employers, and the Affordable Care Act
ConclusionsIncreasingly, Americans are relying on dependent ESI coverage through a family member to maintain continuous insurance when their own employer‐based benefits end. Those who transitioned off ESI were also less likely to enroll in a non‐group plan and were twice as likely to become uninsured. The first year of the ACA did not see material changes in the likelihood that an ESI‐insured adult became uninsured or switched to an alternative public or private plan.
