Dental Anxiety, Fear and Anxiety of Performing Dental Treatments among Dental Students during Clinical Studies
Conclusion: Dental anxiety among dental students is relatively low and decreases gradually as they progress through the clinical years. Anxiety prior to treating patients, particularly children, is at its highest just before starting to treat patients for the first time. As dental students are future healthcare providers, it is important that they learn techniques to help them manage their own dental anxiety and fear as well as deal with anxiety related to treating patients. A Three-Dimensional Comparison of Nasolabial Soft Tissue between Children with Repaired Unilateral Complete Cleft Lip and Palate and Unaffected Children in Khon Kaen, Thailand
Conclusion: This study attempted to establish a norm for evaluating the treatment outcome of cleft lip and cleft palate repair at Srinagarind Hospital in relation to unaffected or noncleft individuals. The results suggest that the noncleft side in affected patients is not an optimal surgical guide for cleft repair and the surgeon should correct both sides of lip and nose features according to the norms. A surgical treatment plan should emphasize correcting nostril height, columella length, nose protrusion from ala base, ala length, and upper lip features. Gingival Plasma Cell Granuloma: A case Report of Multiple Lesions
Conclusions: The present report depicts an extremely unusual case of gingival PCG occurring in a juvenile with multiple lesions, which is worth attention in clinical pediatric dentistry. Excisional-biopsy and histological investigations are imperative for a confirmative diagnosis and to exclude potential aggressive conditions. Complete resection of lesions seems to be a valid treatment, while long-term clinical follow-up is still needed. (Source: Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry)

Bilateral Condylar Fracture: A Case Treated with a Conservative Myofunctional Approach
Mandibular condylar fractures in a growing child may cause long-term consequences. A conservative approach has been recommended to permit the remodelling of the condyles as well as to re-establishing the mandibular dynamics and oral functions. This case report presents a bilateral mandibular condylar fracture in an 11 years old girl treated with myofunctional appliances in combination with exercises. The successful results from this clinical case support a conservative approach when treating mandibular condylar fractures in a growing child instead of an open surgical approach.
