Affective and autonomic response to dynamic rhythmic entrainment – Mechanisms of a specific music therapy factor
The objective of this study was to examine specific cardiovascular and affective effects of live music that was initially matched with the listener’s heart beat and then gradually decreased to promote relaxation.Thirty apparently healthy students were randomized to either the experimental (EG) or the control group (CG). After a brief mental stress task, both groups listened to a live music therapy relaxation technique.
