Validation of an instrument for family participation in the care of hospitalized newborns
Conclusion The instrument proved to have excellent internal consistency, stability over time and items that demonstrated to belong to the analyzed phenomenon. Conclusion The analyzed studies showed the importance of nurses to promote children ’ s mental health in mental health education programs, sensibilization and support to psychoaffective, biologic and social needs. Functional health literacy in renal replacement therapy: an integrative review
Conclusion The twelve instruments to measure functional health literacy in patients under renal replacement therapy show satisfactory psychometric properties, but only one is validated to be used in Brazil. Nonpharmacological interventions in the improvement of quality of life in children and adolescent cancer patients
Conclusion The nonpharmacological interventions that applied physical exercise or were combined with another intervention were the most effective. The present review helps raising awareness of professionals of the importance of the subject and provides resources to plan strategical actions, in the context of pediatric nursing, that include nonpharmacological interventions, together with the standard treatment, to improve quality of life in children and adolescents with cancer. Occupational stress and burnout in health professionals of perioperative units
Conclusion Emotionally strained professionals who move away from colleagues have high psychological demands. As psychological demands increase, so does emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.
