BrowZine for iPhone is now available, dramatically expanding the ways you can engage with BrowZine to find, read and follow your favorite journals! With this new release, you have the option to create a BrowZine Account.  If you have BrowZine installed on your iPhone and iPad, you may now “sync” your My Bookshelf contents.  If you add a journal to My Bookshelf or clear a new article notification from your iPad, it will automatically appear on your iPhone. How Much Do Libraries Pay for Journal Access?
As publishing has moved from paper to electronic access, libraries have carried the burden of paying for this access. Librarians have long complained about the high costs, but exact numbers were difficult to find due to widespread confidentiality agreements that publishers force libraries to sign. Read All About It: Newspapers Now On Display
Scott Library’s copies of four current newspapers (Philadelphia Business Journal, Philadelphia Inquirer, New York Times, Wall Street Journal) are no longer kept behind the Service Desk. They are now nicely encased in the same clear boxes as the leisure magazines, and the boxes sit atop the book shelves which house the magazines on the second floor of Scott. Another Milestone for the Jefferson Digital Commons

Recent additions include the Pathology Honors Program Student Research Symposium posters and Jefferson Medical College yearbooks from 1950 to 1960. The 9,000th asset added was from the Department of Surgery Resident Research Day: Examining the influence of Sirtuins on Adipose Derived Stem Cells using a Lentiviral Knockout Model.
