Pennsylvanians can Receive Naloxone for Free on Thursday

NNLM Reading Club Book Kits: Family Health History
Book clubs provide a space that encourages engaged conversations and allows for people to connect with one another. The NNLM All of Us Community Engagement Network has developed the NNLM Reading Club as a way to build and support conversations around important health topics. National Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW), December 2-8, 2018, is a national awareness campaign focused on highlighting the importance of influenza vaccination. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) established NIVW in 2005 to highlight the importance of continuing flu vaccination through the holiday season and beyond. Why December? Flu vaccination coverage estimates from past seasons have shown that few people get vaccinated against influenza after the end of November. As many of you may know, NNLM MAR’s offices are located at the University of Pittsburgh, just a few miles from the Tree of Life Synagogue where 11 people lost their lives on Saturday morning.
