Triggers for palliative care, a report by Marie Curie, suggests that people with neurological conditions including MS are missing out on care that can make a real difference to quality of life. It shows that there is limited understanding from both health professionals and the public of what palliative care can offer, who can benefit and when the time is right time to access this holistic care. Medical cannabis reviews
Two reviews of the use of cannabis for medical reasons have found only weak evidence for its use in most conditions. The exceptions were the treatment of muscle spasms in MS and of long lasting pain.

Thousands do not get the palliative care they need
A survey by Marie Curie shows that there is limited understanding of what palliative care can do, who it benefits and when to introduce it. It reveals that professionals do not receive enough training in the area and often miss the opportunity to consider whether there is a palliative care need.
