Ambulance, Fire Engine Involved in New Jersey Pile-Up
WEST ORANGE, N.J. (NBC New York) - At least a half-dozen vehicles, including a state police SUV, an ambulance and a fire engine, appear to have been involved in a huge wreck in New Jersey, based on footage of the scene from Chopper 4.  Emergency crews responded en masse to Interstate 280, near exit 9, in West Orange after a call about the accident came in shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Active Shooter Training in Florida Goes on Without Ballistic Protection for Hillsborough County Paramedics
Hillsborough County, Fla. (WFLA) - It looked real. 16 first responder agencies swarmed Pizzo Elementary School, training together to deal with a simulated active shooter situation.  Law enforcement wore ballistic protection, Hillsborough paramedics did not. “It was and is never our intent to send any type of medical personnel into any type of scene where there is a threat,” Sheriff Chronister explained. Diamond Bar, CA Crash
LOUDLABS NEWS - DIAMOND BAR - LASD and LACFD received multiple calls of a two car traffic accident with one vehicle over the side. Once units arrived on scene they located a pick-up truck that over the side down a ledge with one person trapped inside.  Firefighters were able to get the victim out of the truck and into a awaiting ambulance. The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. Video: Nine Hurt in Roof Collapse at Houston Construction Site
HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Fire Department says nine workers were taken to hospitals after they were injured when part of the roof of a building under construction collapsed. Firefighters responded to the roof collapse Monday morning at a hotel under construction north of downtown Houston. Firefighters, Medics, and Patient Injured in California Ambulance Crash
TURLOCK (CBS13) — An ambulance transporting a patient to a Modesto hospital was struck by another vehicle Thursday evening in Turlock, injuring firefighters and medics. Police said the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the area of N. Golden State and W. Monte Vista. The area is closed indefinitely. According to officials, three firefighters and two AMR medics were in the ambulance with the patient at the time of the crash. Man Steals Texas Ambulance for Food and Cigarettes Run
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KHOU 11) - A man in his 60s was taken into custody early Thursday morning after he allegedly stole an ambulance to make a food and cigarette run. The ambulance was stolen from outside Cypress Creek Hospital, which is a mental health facility, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said. Ambulance Crash Closes Interstate in Ohio
CINCINNATI (WCPO) - The scene of a crash involving an ambulance has been cleared from the roadway, according to transportation officials. Northbound Interstate 75 had been closed at the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway for a serious accident at about noon on Tuesday. New Jersey Nursing Home Evacuated in Heat Wave
VOORHEES, N.J. (AP) — Residents of a southern New Jersey nursing home have returned to their rooms after a malfunctioning air conditioning system forced them to be evacuated for several hours during the weekend heat wave. Officials say 183 residents of Voorhees Care and Rehabilitation were evacuated Sunday afternoon while repairs were made. USAR Training with Colorado Task Force 1
West Metro Fire Rescue - Members of Colorado Task Force 1 (CO-TF1) spent a week in early June in Indiana, training in earthquake rescue. Four Injured in South Carolina Ambulance Crash
FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – An ambulance was involved in a crash that sent four people to the hospital Sunday evening.
