Washington Firefighters Misuse Funeral Home Body for Intubation Training
BELLINGHAM, Wash. (KOMO) – Mayor Kelli Linville said a training exercise went horribly wrong for a group of city firefighters when they mishandled a body. Crews set out to practice their intubation skills, but the fire chief called their actions unprecedented and wrong. When firefighters race to a call they have to be ready for so many situations - including helping unconscious patients to breathe. Wisconsin Paramedic, EMT Shortage
GRAFTON (FOX6NOW) - In emergency situations, we count on paramedics and EMTs, and fire departments in Wisconsin and across the country are in dire need of volunteers. "It's a problem all over metro Milwaukee, all over the state and all over the country," said Grafton Fire Chief William Rice. Arkansas EMT Remembered for Life of Love and Service
  LITTLE ROCK, Ark (Fox16) -- An Air Force Veteran turned first responder died in a car accident earlier this week. Justin Lambert, 30, leaves behind a wife, baby girl who turns one in October and a band of brothers. "Like our moral compass, he was the gravity that held us all together." Phillips said. A strong bond Justin and Cheyenne Phillips had for 15 years. "He was just that guy that made everybody better just for even knowing him," Phillips said. Sutton Ambulance Service to Close in Central Illinois
  TAYLORVILLE (WRSP) — The city of Taylorville is scrambling to figure out what’s next after the decades-old ambulance company announced it was closing.
