The Medical Library Association (MLA) has joined forces with the Public Library Association (PLA) and the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) to provide a health information symposium for public librarians that runs concurrent with the last day and a half of MLA ’18, including the Tuesday Silver and Gold Networking Dinner. All of Us Research Program: Share Your Ideas
The All of Us Research Program is seeking input from the public that will help identify key research priorities and requirements (such as data types and methods) for future versions of the All of Us protocol. …where every librarian added one more reference to Wikipedia! That’s the call to action for the #1Lib1Ref, an annual campaign from Wikipedia. It runs from January 15 through February 3 this year, and participating is easy! You just find a Wikipedia article that needs a citation, find a reliable source to support it, add the citation in Wikipedia style, and then use the hashtag in the article and on social media to share your part in improving the quality of this resource that we all use at one time or another (right??).
