We thank Liu et  al1 for their comments on our study, pointing out the potential nonadherence to practice guidelines and lack of rigorous follow-up evaluation as potential causes of the serious adverse events reported in our study. We totally agreed with them on these points, which also were precisely the goals of our study, aiming to report what really happened in routine practice and not what would be expected in the ideal world where all care providers and patients follow exactly what is written in practice guidelines and/or when patients are rigorously observed under a research protocol as performed in t heir published studies.
