Postoperative Pneumonia Increases the Risk of Venous Thromboembolism in Patients: A Propensity Score Analysis
Hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) is one of the most common nosocomial infections. The risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in surgical patients with HAP is not well known. This project aimed to evaluate the risk of VTE in postoperative patients who developed HAP.
