Racial Differences in the Rate of Surgical Site Infection by Subspeciality

Surgical site infection (SSI) is a common, morbid complication. We hypothesized the presence of racial differences in the rate of SSI, comparing Black/African American (BAA) to White non-Hispanic (WNH) patients.
