Minimally Invasive Inguinal Hernia Repair Is Safe and Effective after Earlier Pelvic Operation
Prior pelvic or lower abdominal surgery is considered by many surgeons as a contraindication to minimally invasive inguinal hernia repair due to scarring and altered pelvic anatomy. The aim of this study was to evaluate safety and short-term outcomes of inguinal hernia repair in patients who have had prior pelvic surgery.
