Evaluation of Low- and Middle-Income Country Authorship in the Global Orthopedics Literature

Within global health, there is growing recognition of the importance of building research capacity in low-and-middle income countries (LMICs). However LMIC authors remain underrepresented as first and last authors in research conducted on LMIC populations. Our goal was to perform one of the first characterizations of LMIC authorship in global orthopedics.
