A County Hospital Model for 3D Surgical Simulation in Global and Rural Hospitals.

Three-dimensional printing shows promise in enhancing how surgeons plan and execute procedures through simulation. Affordability and translatability to global and rural medical centers, however, have yet to be thoroughly investigated. Our study aims to investigate the cost and feasibility of scaling this surgical simulation technology to healthcare centers with limited resources. Enhanced translatability of this educational tool will help decrease disparities in surgical education.
