Current State of Surgical Cleft Care in Sub-Saharan Africa

There is currently a paucity of research on cleft care in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Understanding the unique burden of cleft lip and palate in SSA may better enable outreach programs and surgical providers to adequately address the needs of the local community.
