Hospitals with cancer center accreditation from the American College of Surgeons ’ Commission on Cancer (CoC) have demonstrated superior outcomes compared to non-CoC-accredited hospitals. The effect of health system affiliation with a CoC-accredited cancer center on outcomes remains unexamined.
