Hyperlipasemia in Hospitalized COVID-19 Patients

SARS-CoV-2 is a novel virus with numerous poorly elucidated clinical manifestations. Previous reports have demonstrated a potential link between SARS-CoV-2 positivity and manifestation of various biomarkers such as elevated D-dimers. The goal of the current study was to investigate the incidence of hyperlipasemia in hospitalized COVID-19 positive patients and correlate its relationship to clinical outcomes.
