Pressure wrap effects on heart rate and behavior

Moderate-to-deep pressure on soft tissue in various species has been shown to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. Canine anxiety disorders are commonly treated with medications and behavior modification programming. Although pressure wraps are sometimes used to treat canine anxiety, the effects of this therapy have not been rigorously investigated.
