International Myeloma Foundation Declares March “Myeloma Awareness Month” “Knowledge is Power” Is Key Message of Month-Long Awareness Campaign

It is officially Myeloma Awareness Month (?#‎MAM?)! The IMF first declared this global event in 2009, with the notion that increasing awareness of the disease could lead to early diagnosis and increased funding for researching. This year, we are pushing the "Knowledge is power" message. "The majority of patients have never heard of myeloma before their diagnosis," IMF President and Co-Founder Susie Novis said. "The IMF is proud to lead the charge in raising myeloma awareness across America and around the world."
