Mammary gland tumor promotion by chronic administration of IGF1 and the insulin analogue AspB10 in the p53 R270H/+ WAPCre mouse model

A human-relevant mouse model is used to determine the carcinogenic potential of diabetes drugs, finding a link between insulin-like molecules with high mitogenic activity and increased risk of breast cancer development.
