Is salvage radiotherapy optimal to patients with occult cervical cancer undergoing inadvertent simple hysterectomy? A propensity score-matched analysis of a nationwide clinical oncology database

ConclusionsThis is the largest study of the effect of salvage radiotherapy on overall survival in patients with unanticipated cervical cancer. Salvage radiotherapy can improve overall survival compared with hysterectomy alone, while cannot achieve comparable survival to radical surgery.
